Requirements for Eventing at Brae Fearann in 2010

A number of organizational and fee changes within Equine Canada and Canadian Eventing has led to changes in fees and membership requirements. We suggest you start organizing your paperwork now.

Temporary memberships will NOT be available at our events.

Membership and Licensing Details

1. Equine Canada Sport License

Available online from the Equine Canada website

BRONZE $20 - PreTraining level and below

SILVER $60 - Training level

2. Canadian Eventing membership

This membership and your Omnibus are now coordinated through Equine Canada and there is not a separate CE membership card. Previously your CE membership was included in your HTNB fee and submitted on your behalf. Read the announcement.

SENIOR membership - $20

JUNIOR membership - $18 (17 years of age and under as of Jan 1st, 2010)

To obtain your CE membership (indicated by the word EVENTING on your EC card):

apply for membership online when you apply for your Equine Canada membership

or if you forgot, you can UPGRADE your EC license to include Canadian Eventing online

or send your printed membership application by directly to: Equine Canada, 2685 Queensview Drive, Suite 100, Ottawa. ON K2B 8K2 (613-248-3433).

3. Horse Trials New Brunswick or equivalent membership

HTNB fees have been reduced to reflect the new CE membership fees.

FAMILY membership - $30

SENIOR membership - $20

JUNIOR membership - $15

4. New Brunswick Equestrian Association or equivalent membership

Apply to the NBEA online or get print membership applications from the NBEA website

Nova Scotia and PEI riders only: given structural changes and additional EC fees required of Nova Scotia and PEI riders, NSEF/NBEA/IHC membership is not required.

5. Equine Canada Passport

If you are competing at Training level or above your horse must have a Passport. Passports are available through Equine Canada Passport website.
